Course Dates:
- Florida classes start on May 13, 2021 to July 15, 2021
- New Jersey classes start on Wednesday May 12, 2021
- Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at both the FL & NJ locations
Core Course Content:
- Basic Safety (Construction Site Safety Orientation)
- Introduction to Construction Math
- Introduction to Hand Tools
- Introduction to Power Tools
- Introduction to Construction Drawings
- Basic Communication Skills
- Basic Employable Skills
- Introduction to Material Handling
May 13, 2021 is the start date!
- This ten session, once a week, live virtual training course covers the principles of Core construction.
- Registration Period from April 1, 2021, to April 30, 2021 (online, fee/cost must be paid for books & access code to be mailed)
- Orientation Dates: May 4, 2021 or May 6, 2021 (students will be instructed on the complete overview of NCCERConnect and access to class grade book)
- All students that pass all the exams will be scheduled for the hands-on practical examination. Upon completion, an NCCER card number will be issued.
- Note: the Newark, NJ classes will be the person to person.

A Craft Instructor is an individual who has been certified in accordance with NCCER’s Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) for Craft Training and is authorized to train students.
