The organization is committed to supporting individuals and families in achieving a high quality of life, both in times of stability and in the aftermath of challenges such as natural disasters, extreme weather events, and public health crises.

Through its efforts, MARS CDC seeks to empower individuals to pursue greater opportunities, foster resilience, and achieve personal and community success. Guided by a spirit of hope, growth, and self-sufficiency, the organization works to help individuals realize their full potential and build stronger, more sustainable communities.

Pathways to Skilled Careers

South Florida offers registered apprenticeships through organizations like Universal Technical Institute, NCCER, and industry groups in trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, providing 2–5 years of paid hands-on training, industry credentials, and clear career pathways in high-demand fields.

MARS Community Development Corporation (MARS CDC) is committed to educating and empowering individuals to become active, informed, and productive members of the communities in which they live. Through the sharing of educational resources, workforce information, and community-based support, MARS CDC works to strengthen individuals and families by increasing access to opportunities that promote personal and economic growth.
